One day, the employee Manohar dead after drinking a potion from Mathur. Meanwhile, Shobha meets a poet Sudarshan (Kishore Kumar) and both of them fall in love. But when he asks for her hand in marriage, Shobha refuses... Mr. X in Bombay is a low budget, black & white film. It became super hits because of supreme voice of India Lata, KishoreDa and last but not least because of Laxmikant & Pyarelal melodious Music.
