Synopsis: Lahanpan Dega Deva is a satirical comedy on middle class prejudices and the laughable upheavals in a typical family. Anant who has run away from his home in his childhood visits his sister after many years. Anant's sister welcomes him but his brother in law, Vishwanathrao is not delighted by Anant's visit. Vishwanathrao is heavily under debt after a failed business and is chased by his creditors as well his father-in-law who has lent him money for the business. Anant becomes an unwanted guest in the family when he overstays and starts borrowing money from the neighbors and makes numerous shopping sprees on his brother-in-law's credit.
